GEOCITIES VR

GeoCities VR is an exploration of the limitations technology places on our effort to create worlds for ourselves.

Isabel Donlan and I created a world that leverages the creative limitations inherent in a VR game engine like Unity. GeoCities VR fastens old gifs to 2D sprites, recreating the thematic virtual worlds of the early internet.
