In February 2016 the NYC Comptroller's Office released a critical audit of NYC's Department of Housing Preservation and Development, identifying over 1,000 vacant lots across the city which could potentially be converted into affordable housing but instead have been left idle, in many cases for decades.
There are over 4,000 city-owned vacant lots in New York City. Vacancies is a visual collection examining the ironies inherent in the landscape, ownership and use of these lots.

This digital web map, a tribute to Craigslist Mirrors, plots a selection of mirrors that appeared for sale on NYC's Craigslist in February 2016. The project explores the idea of a crowdsourced Internal Street View of NYC.
